Nelson-based artist Genevieve Robertson's endless body, is a collection of both small and large scale drawings created by Genevieve since 2021. Most of the work emerged in her first year after birthing twins. While working, she spent time thinking about her own body – and other living bodies – in relation to places and issues related to our environment and climate.
August 18 to September 30, 2023.
OPENING: Friday, August 18, 4 – 7pm
The exhibition features new drawings and cyanotypes by Heather Kai Smith. Focusing on drawing as a practice of translation, images of collectivity and performative social ritual are re-presented as questions of form.

Out of 20 years of friendship and several impromptu gatherings at the pub, artists Mark Dicey, Leslie Sweder and Janet Turner formed Drunken Paw in 2009. Their collaborative has responded to human culture while meeting and drawing in urban settings. While at Empire of Dirt Artist Residency, Drunken Paw included the forest and its environment into their drawings. This exhibition displays three large drawings from their time in Creston in 2022, as well as their own individual work.

Calgary-based artists
March 3 to April 23, 2023. OPENING March 3, 4 -7pm.
Includes an olfactory video that blends how bees and humans experience and use the land around us. Shot using ultraviolet video, visitors are invited to see the prairie landscape from a bee’s point of view and a scratch and sniff card expands on the pleasant and pungent experience of pumpjacks, grazing cattle, prairie grasses and wildflowers. As the solitary bee searches and dreams of a rose, the work is meant to conjure questions about our shared future.
